Today representatives of the website Youtube.com announced new technology under development which can insert advertisements into subscribers dreams. Using a type of infrared beam sent from your computer, Youtube can non invasivly send content into the dreams of its users.
"Were excited to have this opportunity to bring all this new content to people!" Says youtube employee Brett Serferdoo, "Were also excited to totally squander that opportunity with pointless advertisements!"
According to revenue projections, the new "Youtube Dream" function would integrate seamlessly with the website as it is, users would be unaware anything had changed until they start having reoccurring dreams about fast food and Charmin.
With so many privacy concerns today, many consider this latest invasion of privacy to be one step to far. Protests already hit many major cities across the US and whistle blower Edward Snowden tweeted out "F*ck this, i'm done" and was last seen heading for one of Europe's primeval forests.
