In the latest saga unfolding on the Southern Boarder, President Trump today called for a second National Emergency to be declared in response to the so called "Puppy Caravan" making its way north toward the United States.
"It was an Emergency before, now its a bigger emergency" Trump is quoted as saying. "They are bringing flees, they track mud in the house, some of them, even eat garbage." The proposal has caused controversy across the aisle, many criticizing the presidents continuing expansion of executive power.
"Its a bunch of puppies" Says democratic Senator Softy McGoodheart, "They are lost, tired, hungry, they just want to find homes here in the US with owners who care about them. But the President just wants to use these poor innocent fluffy puppies to further his own political goals. It's despicable."
It's clear this will be a controversial and closely watched saga as it unfolds. Daily Q will keep you posted.
