Theresa May Launches "Dance Filibuster" to Block No-Confidence Vote

By Lana Piranha

The Brexit standoff continues in the UK this week as British Prime Minister Theresa May launched an ambitious "Dance Filibuster" to block a no confidence vote initiated by her political opponents.

The move sparked outrage among the embattled Prime Minister's political opponents, calling her obstructionist and desperate after the month long stale mate has left her political standing in shambles.  May responding by doing an awkward shuffling stomping dance around the room, laughing as her critics stared dumbfounded, unable to respond.

Later, the move was replicated on the floor of Parliament, and much to the disgust of her opponents, May continued this strange dance for several hours, her expression unchangingly enthusiastic.  Many walked out or sent enraged tweets at the Prime Minister, but she danced on with no concern.  Though at first skeptical, many political commentators now believe the move may be successful at delaying a no confidence vote.
