In a press conference today, representatives of the United States Military unveiled a new initiative to fight breast cancer: A pink Inter Continental Ballistic Missile which reminds people to continue the fight for cancer research as it makes its long journey to blow up a wedding in Yemen.
The move was greeted with skepticism on both sides of the aisle. Democrats seemed concerned with the juxtaposition of a weapon of mass murder with the campaign to end breast cancer. Criticism on the right tended to focus more on cultural issues. During a controversial discussion on the Senate floor, Vice President Mike Pense is quoted as saying that he can't support the initiative because he "Isn't allowed think about breast with a woman in the room"
The initiative looks likely to be carried out, and soon we may see these pink eagles of freedom on their way to a fiery baptism, proudly curing cancer as they soar toward liberty and justice.
