In an anonymous leak to the New York Times, an insider from the Republican Party gave reporters a trove of unreleased tax documents from over the last 10 years. Most shockingly, the documents purport to show that Republic Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell allocated millions from party funds to build a so called "Volcano Island Lair" complete with training course, chemistry lab, alligator pit and a cohort of loyal henchmen.
Right wingers were surprisingly silent on the story, Fox News waited an entire day to even mention the "Luxury Island Resort" as they called it. However the left wing media has unleashed a storm of criticism, citing that though legal, spending millions of tax dollars on an evil mad scientist lair is generally considered anti social behavior.
