In a series of twitter announcements followed by an official release on JK Rowlings "Pottermore" website, the UK author announced plans for a new series of Harry Potter stories, taking place twenty years after the end of the original series and featuring a generation of young "Millennial" Wizards who destroy Hogwarts with their fragile snowflake egos and need for safe space.
Rowling has already announced several titles for the series which is expected to run another seven books. Titles include: "Harry Potter and the Trophy of Participation", "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Safe Spaces" and "Harry Potter and the Market Place of Ideas".
Calling the books more "Politically relevant" Rowling has drawn criticism from long time fans of the series for taking the story in a strange and socially backward direction. Many have already announced plans to boycott the series, some book stores even promising not to stock the new works.
In retaliation Rowling went on a late night twitter tirade against her critics before posting series of vindictive updates to her Pottermore website. New additions to the Harry Potter Lore include such gems as "Wizards don't do mathematics", "Neville Longbottum is a secret Furry" and the stunning "Voldemort and Cornelius Fudge were gay lovers."
Daily Q will continue to follow this controversial story as it unfolds.
