In a strange turn of events, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos challenged fellow Billionaire and space exploration CEO Elon Musk to an old style pistol duel on the surface of Mars. “When we get there.”
At a TED talk later that day, Musk stated “Humanity has always had a deep curiosity about the stars, this longing, is what drives our species forward, it is the fulfillment of that long time dream, to get to Mars, to make a home in the heavens! And then I’m going to plug that pompous ass Bezos and bury him six feet under the martian ground!”
In retaliation Bezos released a video of the CEO in a space suit touting a large automatic rifle. Musk did not respond but many speculated about his frustrated because he launched several cars into space that evening without any announcement.
How this dramatic conflict will end no one knows, but it certainly will be an event of interplanetary proportions.
