In a controversial move the Republic Party has nominated an actual Swamp Monster as Florida Attorney General, sparking widespread outcry from political opponents.
The Swamp Monster, a ten foot tall scaly green lizard man, didn't wait for official process and moved into the Attorney General's office, bringing 14 inches of mud and swamp water with him. Lurking behind a desk, the Swamp Monster flung handfuls of Muck and screamed incoherently at anyone entering the office.
In a speech today, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell told Congress the Swamp Monster was acting with the integrity of a member of the Republican Party and that they would support him no matter what.
