Ghost of John Candy Returns to Spread Laughter and Cheer During "America's Darkest Hour"

By Lana Piranha

The people of New York City were overjoyed this morning to see a ghostly apparition of the late actor John Candy performing antics and street comedy in an attempt to spread joy during what he called "America's Darkest Hour".

In an impromptu scheduled 60 minutes interview, Candy told the country he had been watching over them and felt a great sadness at the state of the world.  "I just had to come back, I couldn't sit back and watch any longer."

The actors presence was greeted with great enthusiasm, crowds of people flocked to see his comedy routines and millions tuned in on major networks to see the event.  Several major production companies have already offered the phantom actor a series of major movie deals, starting with a supporting roll in "Home Alone 5" and "Spaceballs 2, The Merchandising Strikes Back".

Candy was unclear how long he plans to remain, but he did say he planned to do his part to resist the dark times to come.  Reporting from New York this is Daily Q.
