In a shocking revelations, documents provided to the Wall Street Journal by an anonymous source appear to show Democratic Presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke was a key figure in founding The Divine Church of Alien Lucifer, a secretive and shadowy UFO cult which grew to national following over the decade of its operation.
O'Rourke denied the allegations but pictures appear to show the young man in attendance at several key cult meetings, as well his signature clearly appears on the groups foundation charter, leading many to speculate that O'Rourke may have had an instrumental roll in founding the group.
"We need to keep moving forward." O'Rourke told a crowd of supporters at a rally yesterday. "The future is in front of us! The past....behind us. Once we have put these terrible lies to bed we can keep working to build our rhetorically empty and politically vacuous campaign."
