Crowd of 10,000 People Brave "Apocalyptic" Weather Conditions to See Bernie Sanders Speak in Brooklyn

By Xander Schemander

In what turned out to be a climactic and successful rally, Bernie spoke to a crowd of well over 10,000 in Brooklyn yesterday afternoon, braving Biblical weather conditions to lay out his platform for economic equality.

"We are going to take this country back from the 1%!"  Bernie shouted over the torrential rain and gale force winds nearly tearing umbrellas from peoples hands.  "These Billionaires have kept people living in poverty for to long!"

Many are calling it an impressive showing despite the extreme weather, despite this, resounding criticism for Bernie's policies was echoed through both the left and right wing media.

"Now, we know, the media is going to say all kinds of things about what we are trying to do here!"  Bernie told rally goers as fist sized hail stones smashed windshields and a bolt of lightning struck a nearby transformer causing a small explosion.  "But we are going to keep on going, no matter what!  We are going to fight to make this country work for poor and disadvantaged people!"  A tornado was seen striking a nearby building and sending debris raining down on the rally goers.
