A controversial legal battle underway in the 5th circuit court finally had a breakthrough ruling when a christian group, the so called "Sons of Piety" won the right to challenge the existence of the Pentagon, calling it a "Satanic Pentagram". According to the Sons of Piety, the group wishes to replace the building with a new design known as "The Hexagon"
Calls for replacing the Pentagon were met with skepticism until earlier this year when the campaign began to gain momentum. Critics of the group point the massive budget and logistical undertaking required to tear down and rebuild the military center. "It would be a total disaster" says military spokesman Shout Yellum. "The whole bureaucracy would have to be uprooted and moved seamlessly while the building was under construction. It would be an absolute logistical nightmare."
But Christians were quick to point out that the coming of Satan's kingdom to earth would be more of a nightmare than a bit of chair shuffling. "If we don't get rid of this clear Satanic idol, it will lead to the end times!" Says Sons of Piety spokesperson Donald Dipstick. "We just can't risk it! Read Revelations, it's all there!"
Daily Q's staff has read the passage and there is no mention of Pentagonal buildings. We will keep you updated.
