The movie industry was rocked today by an announcement for the summers upcoming action blockbuster: Inconvenient Truth 2: The Day of Judgment, starring and directed by former vice President Al Gore.
The movie opens with Gore rescuing a family of Polar bares by fighting off poachers with nothing but a Bowie knife and his wits. Later the plot focuses on Gore's attempt to bring down a fictitious oil barren known as Snidley Cuthroat, during one scene, Gore is attacked by Oil Company hit men at a speech to the UN and is forced to fight them off with a Nobel Peace Prize and pair of Nun-chucks.
Critics are calling the screenplay "Ambitious" and "Incoherent". Gore however told audiences that it was both meant to have a message and to be a fun, exciting adventure for the whole family. "I thought this would be the best way to get my message out there" Gore told Daily Q. "People are looking to be entertained, but if we can educated them about an important issue at the same time, I think that's a good idea."
The movie began filming last fall and is set to hit theaters this July. Daily Q will keep you posted.
